Our E-shop has been modernised from top to bottom and brought into line with the state of the art. The new responsive design now offers our customers, irrespective of the terminal device used – desktop PC, laptop, tablet or Smartphone – in each case there is an ideally-matched display. Thanks to the "breadcrumb" navigation used throughout, the search for articles is considerably easier. Every customer has clear feedback as to where he is in the catalogue structure at all times. A large number of dropdown menus also facilitate the selection of products and make it possible for you to navigate intuitively through our range, which comprises over 7,000 different items. Ordering has also been revised and all shopping basket functions are now available for you before you log in. 

There are now several convenience functions for optimising the procurement process: for instance, each customer can enter individual additional information in a special info field at the time of placing the order, such as his own article number and order number to facilitate allocation in his company. There is also a memo list which makes it possible to store regularly ordered products in the system permanently and thus speeds up the ordering procedure.

The start pages for each product category already contain catalogues with further information as well as videos with product and installation instructions in some cases. 

Our partner in the implementation of this modernisation project is COMU GmbH from Kronburg/Kardorf. As the technical basis, the COMU eShop Platform is employed. Modifications to suit the requirements of KVT-Fastening and connection into SAP and data transfer from the old system into the new one were accomplished within a very few months.
